Meet the Kindergarten Team

Mrs. Lindsay Tully, Lead Teacher

Mrs. Tully has been teaching at Rise and Shine for eight years. She holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Baldwin Wallace University. Prior to Rise and Shine she taught second grade and Title I Reading and Math in Cleveland. She is a mom to two amazing kids who are also Rise and Shine graduates. They are now in sixth and eighth grade in Brunswick City Schools. She is so excited to be a part of the kindergarten team and get to know your family!

Mrs. Iveta Slaker, Kindergarten Classroom Aide

I have been working at Rise & Shine for five years! I was born in Prague, Czech Republic, where I majored in Psychology and Linguistics at Charles University in Prague. I have a daughter Alzbeta and a son Donnie. Polaris is my home church and I currently teach Sunday Bible School for preschoolers.

I am very excited to be part of the Kindergarten team!!

Mrs. Kristina Wenneman, Small Group Teacher

Mrs. Wenneman attended The University of Akron where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She taught preschool and first grade before taking a break to stay home with her three children- two which currently attend R&S. She is excited to be back in the classroom again!
